GingerChi’s Jade Gua Sha Treatment acts as a natural face lift! A modern anti-aging treatment based on the ancient healing art of GuaSha.

Gua Sha, meaning to “scrape away illness”, involves using stone tools, such as Jade, and a lubricant, as a healing technique used in traditional Chinese medicine. The tool is used to apply pressure while gliding over the skin repeatedly in one direction, thus stimulating meridians, activating blood circulation and dissipating blood stasis to heal pain and inflammation in the body to revitalize Chi.

We've adapted the GuaSha concept and modified the tool design to create a treatment that naturally restores firmness to sagging skin and provides radiance for dull skin. Used with GingerChi Regenerating Face Serum, the Jade GuaSha Tool increases blood flow to the dermal layers clearing congestion, stimulating cell renewal and improving nutrient absorption.

The Jade stone is believed to carry nourishing and gentle energy and considered a symbol of beauty, grace and longevity. The semiprecious stone has properties that allow it to remain cold on contact (even in warm weather). This cooling effect helps to minimize pores, tighten skin and increase lymphatic drainage.

I used my sister’s Jade GuaSha over the holidays and the one I received is significantly thinner

Our tools are handcrafted from natural Xiuyan jade, so each piece is unique and can vary slightly in thickness and weight. I personally prefer the thinner tools, and many of our customers do as well, as they tend to glide more easily over the facial contours — but we completely understand your preference for a sturdier feel. Jade mini mushroom

I've only recently purchased the jade mini mushroom so only used 3 times but it is really nice. I like the fact instructions are included with it so you know which way to sweep the mushroom on your face. After using it my face and neck felt refreshed and toned. Will keep using as it feels good. I've just ordered a bigger mushroom for the rest of my body.

Love my Gua Sha Comb! Highly recommend.

I read all the reviews for Ginger Chi and decided to try theirs. I have not been disappointed, and I'm addicted now to the wonderful pampering feeling of using the Gua Sha Comb tool. I've only had it for a few weeks, but I have definitely felt and seen the difference not only on the puffiness on areas of my face but also difference with sinus issues I tend to have. It is wonderful product. It comes with its own cute storage bag. I did get a couple sample oils and a handwritten note, which made me feel special! Love the attention to detail. Highly recommend the tool for daily lymph massages.

A: Regularly using a Gua Sha can help get rid of wrinkles by minimizing fine lines and creases since it increases collagen production. This boosts skin elasticity to look firmer and can help your skin look glowing!.

Q2: Does Gua Sha help puffy eyes?
A: Ever wake up with puffy eyes? That’s a sign of poor lymphatic drainage (unless you’ve been crying all night!). The lymphatic system circulates lymph fluid by muscles moving and contracting. Gua Sha is particularly helpful for lymphatic drainage in the face because we don’t move the muscles in our face as much as the rest of our body. So, the intentionality of practicing Gua Sha helps move the lymph fluid through the system removing puffiness and inflammation from your face and neck.

Q3: Which part of the Gua Sha tool should I use?
A: It’s a personal preference! As you become more familiar with your chosen Gua Sha tool, you will find what flows and feels best for you. It may also change due to stress and other tensions.

Q4: How do I wash my Gua Sha?
A: For a quick wash after use, run it under water and wash with soap. Leave to air dry on a clean washcloth. At least once a week, soak a cotton pad in peroxide or use an alcohol wipe for a deeper clean. If you suffer from frequent breakouts, wipe your Gua Sha with an alcohol wipe or peroxide before use. Store in the muslin bag it came in, or wrapped in a clean washcloth to prevent it from contact with bacteria and other germs.
