Jade Comb: Unlike ordinary combs, this Jade comb is designed specifically for massaging the scalp to help stimulate meridians for relaxation, reducing fatigue and stimulate hair rejuvenation. Our Jade GuaSha tools are made with Xiuyan Jade, also known as Wagou Jade, a high quality Jade from Xiuyan, in northeast China.

Note: Due to its natural formation, Jade stone color varies from very pale green to deep turquoise green. The myriad of greens found in Xiuyan Jade makes each GingerChi Jade GuaSha unique, just for you!

Wonderful Products

I love my Jade comb and all of the products that I have purchased at GingerChi. The cleansing oils and body oils are fabulous. The dry brushes that I have purchased from here have improved the health of my skin and my well being in general. So relaxing

I’m 71 and my hair seems to be thinning. Not losing hair but each strand is becoming more fine. Thought this would stimulate hair growth. It will probably take 6 + months to see a difference but it feels so good to use it. My scalp feel tingly after using it. The oil has a very nice fragrance. Nice & light, not over-powering. This is the 3 item I’ve purchased from this company. Every one is very well made and comes in beautiful packaging.

Like each of our unique beauty treatment systems, the GingerChi Jade Comb + Penetrating Hair Shine Serum comes with an illustrated leaflet with detailed instructions on how to properly glide the comb over the meridian points of scalp.

Dispense a few drops of serum and massage into scalp. Using the Jade Comb, use gentle circular motions follow the instructions provided. Do not apply strong pressure, as skin on scalp is sensitive. Do not use on broken skin or if you have any scalp conditions. Leave on for at least an hour or overnight. Wash out and style as usual .

A: Yes it does! Combing your hair and scalp gives it a massage to allow more nutrients and oxygen to stimulate hair follicle growth.

Q3: What is hair oil? And what is scalp oil?
A: With the summer sun, harsh winters, heat styling, products, dyes, hard water, soft water, chemicals and pollutants in our water, or even just those hot showers we all love to take, our hair and scalps feel the effects and get dry, flakey, itchy, break easily, or even create more oil trying to balance itself out. Hair and scalp oil can help feed your scalp and hair, the same way that oils and serums feed your skin, leaving it healthier, thicker, and shinier than ever before!

Q4: How do I use hair and scalp oil?
A: There are two main ways to apply hair and scalp oils: as a deep overnight mask, or a light daily treatment. Daily: after washing, or dampening your hair if it’s not a wash day, apply a few drops to your palms and run through the mid to end lengths of your hair. If your scalp is itchy/flaking, apply a drop lightly in the affected areas, or massage two-three drops lightly over the whole scalp. Deep treatment: once a week, apply oil generously and massage into your scalp and through the lengths of your hair, concentrating on the ends. Wear a shower cap, bonnet, or light microfiber towel to keep your hair from depositing oil on your pillow! Shampoo and condition as usual in the morning.
