Self Care Series #5
A Perfect Yin Yang Energy Balancing Tea

The end of summer – often the hottest and most humid time of the year.

In Chinese medicine, summer-heat and dampness leads to an imbalance in Chi energy,
drawing out our Yang energy in the form of excessive heat,
leaving our body feeling Yin. Which causes an internal imbalance.

This excessive heat draws energy away from the internal organs to the surface of the skin to help the body cool down. It leaves us feeling drawn out, lethargic, and susceptible to poor digestion.

I'd like to share a quick and delicious drink recipe I came up as a light refresher to help keep your body in-balance and feeling invigorated.
Let me know what you think!
