For example, when there is a deficiency in the lungs, the skin becomes itchy and flaky. When the heart is affected by stress, this can cause acne on the forehead or nose bridge. An imbalance in the spleen may lead to an accumulation of dampness and heat, causing increased sebum production, pimple outbreaks and, or eczema.
