Self Care Series #19
A simple masque to soothe, glow and brighten.

A simple DIY Soothe and Glow Brightening mask recipe that we'd like to share to pamper yourself. You can find most of the ingredients at home :-)

INGREDIENTS
1tbsp. rice flour
1 tbsp. oatmeal
2 tbsp. honey

METHOD
Mix the ingredients and apply them all over your face and neck.
Rinse after 20 minutes.

In the video, I'm using GingerChi's Rice Bran Masque which is a pure special blend of Rice Bran powder, Rice husk powder, Organic Ginger Root powder.

BENEFITS
Rice contains ferulic acid and allantoin, which work as a great natural sunscreen. With its anti-inflammation properties, it can also soothe sunburns.

Oats contain saponins which are natural cleansers, they help remove the dirt and oil that clogs the pores. They also moisturize, calms the skin and reducing inflammation.

Honey is rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, probiotics, amino acids, and enzymes that protect, soften, and nourish skin. Not only it has natural antiseptic, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties, it also helps to brighten skin.

Honey is good to treat dry skin but also works extremely well in treating oily, acne-prone and combination skin types as well. You'll find that you will have a healthy moisturized glow to the face after applying honey on your face.

We hope you enjoyed this relaxing mask.
