Self Care Series #8
Skincare for your hair

While many women religiously follow a skincare routine, it can be easy to forget that their hair requires the same care and attention.

Hair health is a reflection of how healthy or unhealthy your life is. Genetic pre-disposition may cause harmful effects, but healthy living may prevent adverse conditions like alopecia. Taking care of your hair is as important as any other part of the body.

A simple and effective way that we recommend taking care of your hair daily is doing hair oiling.

Oils play an important role in protecting hair from regular wear and tear. Oiling hair regularly reduces hygral fatigue, or the swelling and drying of hair. Oils protect the follicle from surfactants by filling the gap between cuticle cells.

Oil helps in scalp health. When you gently massage the scalp it helps in exfoliation and sometimes that helps in reducing hair fall.

Our vitamin rich blend of nourishing and therapeutic oils will treat your scalp and give your hair shine. Use it as a leave-in conditioner, deep oil treatment, or a scalp massage.

The Ginger, Rosemary, Lavender, Peppermint and Atlas Cedar strengthen and revitalize scalp while Camellia, Meadowfoam, Baobab, Coconut, Jojoba, and Crambe seed oils provide nutrients, moisture and shine without weighing hair down. This serum will leave your hair feeling soft, smooth, calm and manageable.

Sleeping on Silk

Silk pillowcases also help with hair frizz. Thanks to silk's super smooth texture, hair glides over it without any friction which means you'll be less likely to wake up with frizzy hair, tangles, or bedhead, whereas cotton can snag hair and muss it up into a nest of tangles overnight.

Sleeping on silk is a secret that women with textured and curly hair have been using for years to keep styles like braids and blowouts preserved for longer without adding frizz.

We hope you'll find these hair tips helpful.
Have a great Sunday
